La Esperanza is a 14-family cooperative we partnered with in 2024. They grow heirloom Nacional cacao on shaded plots a few kilometres inland from the Pacific. Fermentation runs seven days in wooden cascade boxes. The flavour is unmistakable — jasmine, ripe stone fruit, quiet warm-spice finish. We split orders across the cooperative so no single family becomes dependent on our volume.
