Don Aurelio's plot sits at 1,200 metres above the Vilcanota in Quillabamba. The cacao is heirloom chuncho — small, irregular pods, intensely floral. He ferments in stacked banana-leaf boxes for six days then sun-dries on raised wooden beds. We've worked with him directly since 2023 and pay roughly 2.4× the local market rate. The whole harvest goes into our Cusco bag.
